Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous vote, leaving a black mark on Ladd's record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won the next match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak.
