Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974, Aviano Italy American actress. Noted for critically acclaimed portrayals of charming, innocent individuals. Adams grew as the seventh year old within Castle Rock Colorado. The mid-1990s saw her begin dancing and performing professionally at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentary film that explored beauty contests. In Los Angeles, she pursued acting as a profession following her film debut, in which she portrayed an uneasy but fun contestant. Between June 1951 and September of 1962, she was married with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began after signing a MGM contract in the late 1940s. The actress was discovered by actress and model Norma shearer. She starred in a number of popular films during the next decade, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954) which starred Martin Lewis.
