She was born March 29th 1985, in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina Michelle is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson's parents are Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican heritage, but is American by nationality. Since the age of a child, she's always had a strong determination to be involved in activities. Gerina began golfing when she was the age of 15. Gerina has graduated from Goddard High School. At the age of 16, she was a winner in New Mexico's state golf tournament. Along with the sport of volleyball, she played on a state-level. She was enrolled at the University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. In her final year, she won every tournament she competed in. During undergraduate studies she won the titles of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
